Why A Spanish-Themed Wedding?

Hi!

When my husband and I finally proposed to me; I instantly thought of having a Spanish-theme wedding because of the following reasons:

1. I love Antonio Banderas and I really enjoyed watching the movie Mask of Zorro. I love the Spanish details on the film — the costumes, hairstyles, music and the dance.
2. I’m captivated by the grand architecture old Spanish-built churches and cathedrals and I definitely love to walk on a long aisle like theirs.
3. I also like the bold colors of Spain — Red, Gold and Black; which I would like to be our motif if using black in weddings is acceptable here in the Philippines.
4. Spanish Cuisine isgrand, sumptuous and stomach-filling which will surely be enjoyed by our matured relatives and food loving friends alike.
5. Finally, I’m not a fan of flowers and rose is the only flower I know; since weddings start and end with flowers, I don’t want to spend and be surrounded by colorful flowers whose names I don’t even know.

Hence, I researched and canvassed for Spanish inspired wedding invitations, bouquets, wedding cake, and of course --- wedding gowns!
