The Irritating Designers

Choosing for a wedding dress designer is the most exciting and stressful part of wedding planning. This is because most women don't really have experience in having a dress made for them; hence, they take time in choosing the wedding dress designer that they are most comfortable with.

This is very true for me. Since I know what theme I want for my wedding, it was easy for me to decide the wedding church, reception venue, food, drinks, wine and flowers. But it took me awhile to choose a wedding dress designer and I had bad experiences in most of them.

Most wedding designers meet you on appointment basis and I thought it's a good practice because I will be given 100% attention; however, 4 out of the 5 designers I set appointment with did not follow their appointment schedule. Designer A even made wait for 4 hours; luckily they are located a a mall. Designer C made me wait for 1 and half hours and talked to me for only for 20 minutes; and when I agreed to just wait for his email for some designs/drawings it took them 2 months to send something.

I also experienced to be bullied by some of the designers I've talked with. I know what I want and this particular designer kept on insisting to on what designs he wants for me.
Other designers simply cost so high but their designs are not really different from the others.
While some just can't get what I want; probably because they simple recycle their designs or they did reinvent themselves and do research regarding the lastest in fashion.

So it took me 4 to 5 month to look for a perfect designer. Luckily I found the one -- Joel Bautista. In fact, I discussed the fantastic wedding dress he made for me in one of my blogs.
